Almere City FC stays on as ClubOS design partner until 2030
When we started building ClubOS, we knew we didn't want to design a platform for football clubs from the outside looking in. We wanted to build it inside one. That's why we're proud to share that Almere City FC will continue as our design partner through the end of the 2029/30 season.
What being a design partner actually means
A design partner is more than a first customer. Over the past year, the ClubOS team has worked side by side with Almere City FC's staff, players and management, sitting in on their routines, testing ideas with the people who would use them, and reshaping features based on what genuinely helped and what didn't. Every part of the platform, from day-to-day administration to data-driven insight for staff and players, has been shaped by how a real club actually operates.
That kind of access is rare in football, and it changes how you build. Instead of guessing what a performance coach, a team manager or an operations lead needs, we can ask them, watch how they work, and come back the following week with something better.
Looking ahead to 2030
The first season laid the groundwork, and the coming years are about taking that shared vision much further. Together with Almere City FC, we'll keep developing ClubOS across more of the club's operations, building and rolling out new tools in the same hands-on way we started.
John Bes, Managing Director of Almere City FC, puts it simply: "We have experienced the collaboration positively over the past season. Our respective visions for the future of football are perfectly aligned, allowing us to strengthen each other in achieving our ambitions."
For David Dwinger, co-founder and CEO of ClubOS, the value lies in that openness: "The access the club gives us is invaluable when it comes to building solutions that genuinely work. It says a great deal about their mindset, and it's a perfect fit with who we are as a company."
Building the modern football club, together
We believe the clubs that thrive in the next decade will be the ones that connect their departments, modernise how decisions get made, and hold on to the knowledge that usually slips through the cracks. Almere City FC shares that belief, and we're excited to keep building the future of football operations with them, one season at a time.
